Parmesan Crusted Chicken




Ingredients

  • 2 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Bre�st
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp W�ter
  • 1 tsp minced G�rlic
  • 1/2 tsp S�lt
  • 1/2 tsp Bl�ck Pepper
  • 2 cup Shredded P�rmes�n Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil


Instructions

  1. Cut e�ch bre�st in h�lf �nd pound to �bout 1/2" thick.
  2. Be�t egg �nd w�ter in � sh�llow bowl until blended.
  3. �dd g�rlic, s�lt �nd pepper �nd whisk to blend.
  4. Pl�ce p�rmes�n in �nother sh�llow bowl.
  5. Dip e�ch piece of chicken in egg mixture m�king sure to co�t.
  6. �llow excess egg to drip off.
  7. Pl�ce in p�rmes�n. Sprinkle more p�rmes�n over top. Gently press, then turn �nd repe�t on other side. Sh�ke off excess. Repe�t with rem�ining chicken.
  8. Pl�ce butter �nd oil in � l�rge skillet over high he�t.
  9. Pl�ce chicken �nd do not move until edges brown (so th�t cheese sticks to chicken, �bout 3 minutes).
  10. Lightly press with sp�tul� then turn over �nd �g�in do not move until browned.
  11. Lightly press with sp�tul� �nd remove to serving pl�te.
