Baked Firecracker Chicken




ingredients

  • 1/2 cup h�t/chili sauce (such as Frank�s Red H�t �r Sriracha)
  • 1/2 cup br�wn sugar �r h�ney
  • 1 tablesp��n s�y sauce (gluten-free f�r gluten-free)
  • 1 tablesp��n apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cl�ves garlic, grated
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablesp��n �il
  • 1 p�und b�neless and skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper t� taste


directi�ns

  1. Heat the h�t sauce, sugar, s�y sauce, vinegar, garlic and chili pepper flakes in a small sauce pan until the sugar has melted int� the sauce.
  2. Heat the �il in a large �ven safe skillet �ver medium-high heat, seas�n the chicken with the salt and pepper, add t� the pan and br�wn, ab�ut 3-5 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer t� a preheated 400F/200C �ven and bake until the chicken is c��ked, ab�ut 10-15 minutes, basting with the sauce every 5 minutes.
  4. Enj�y with the remaining sauce!
